Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS).

T.E.K. is a total water solutions company that provides a comprehensive design and consultations on different types of industrial effluent treatment. We give feasible and efficient solutions to ensure the final discharge effluent complies with the stringent government regulations (e.g. Environmental Quality Act and Regulations).

We have different types of treatment processes to treat the industrial effluent.

Physical Treatment

  • In physical treatment, most of the large particles and oil & grease will be removed from the industrial effluent.
  • Some of the screening equipment will be employed, for example, bar screening, oil & grease separator, filter bucket and etc.

Chemical Treatment / Fenton Oxidation Treatment

  • Most of the insoluble substances in the industrial effluent will be removed by dosing chemicals. pH of the effluent will be controlled within the discharge standard of Department of Environment (DOE).
  • In this stage, some of the pigmented-wastewater might require Fenton Oxidation Treatment to get rid of the pigment in the effluent (printing industries).
  • Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) is the latest technology applied to separate the solid and liquid efficiently.

Anaerobic Digestion System

  • Certain industrial effluent requires anaerobic digestion treatment in order to reduce Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD). Ponding system and Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket (UASB) will be applied to the treatment.

Biological Treatment / Aerobic Digestion System

  • Bio-activated sludge will be the key of this treatment process in order to further reduce the soluble organics in the wastewater. Dissolved oxygen is supplied in the treatment to maintain the population of the biomass in digesting the pollutants of the wastewater.

Solids / Debris Removal Process

  • Cartridge filter, bag filter, sand filter can be used to remove the remaining suspended solids in the treated effluent before discharge to the public drain.
  • TEK Membrane system is applied to remove the solids up to 0.1 microns. It can consistently maintain the clarity of water.

Activated Carbon Adsorption

  • Activated carbon adsorption can be used to remove odor and colour of the effluent.

Ammoniacal Nitrogen Removal System

  • In final discharge standard, ammoniacal nitrogen is one of the key parameters to be measured. We can provide you a system to remove it.
