TEK WATERPAK® SM SERIES

TEK WATERPAK® SM SERIES is a potable water treatment plant which incorporates submerged membrane with pore diameter of 0.1 µm that able to separate particulates, bacteria and viruses from feed water.  TEK’s ultra filtration (UF) membranes with polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) structure ensure high mechanical strength and chemical resistance.Furthermore, TEK’s membranes are capable of performing virtually any raw water quality.

The UF technology of TEK WATERPAK® SM SERIES makes it ideal for several applications: Direct filtration, drinking water treatment, and seawater desalination pre-treatment. Apart from this, based on our expertise and experience, we had specially invented on the features with suitable flux rate, in-situ cleaning facilities and outside-in filtration mode.   Our TEK WATERPAK® SM SERIES can be tailor-designed with bigger treatment capacity to supply clean water to larger population as required.

TEK MEMPLUS® TM

One of the biggest challenges that encountered in palm oil industry goes to the quality of dischargeable palm oil mill effluent (POME). Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD3) level of treated POME at final discharge point is greatly concerned by Department of Environment (DOE). Apart from conventional chemical treatment, TEK MEMPLUS® TM offers a sustainable and reliable solution for palm oil mill effluent (POME).

Astounding and remarkable POME treatment solution,TEK MEMPLUS®TM was developed afteryears of studies & in-house product development. TEK MEMPLUS®TMis proprietary system that incorporates biological treatment and membrane technology to achieve ≤ 20 mg/L of BOD3 in treated final discharge.This filtration process was designed based on membrane flux rate coming with in-situ cleaning facilities and outside-in filtration mode. The quality of treated POME has been proven consistently meeting DOE requirement, BOD3 of 20ppm.

Bioreactor Module

  • Soluble BOD in POME from upstream pond will be further digested through enhanced biological metabolism. In this process, microorganism digests organic as food and for energy. Oxygen supplied by aeration equipment is consumed by the microorganism and new cell.

Membrane Filtration Module

  • Insoluble BOD in POME from bioreactor module is removed from solution through membrane filtration module.
  • Palm oil mills experience high total suspended solid (TSS) in the treated POME. Studies conducted by TEK proved that removal of TSS will reduce BOD3. However, TSS discovered were very fine (normally less than 1 micron). Therefore, standard sand filter is unable to remove these fines TSS.
  • TEK Membrane Filtration process incorporates the latest PVDF membrane filtration technology in removing fine TSS. PVDF membrane was selected for its resistance to chemicals, strong in mechanical strength and easy to clean. Our TEK membrane filtration process is highly efficient, fouling resistant and easy to operate.
